Got Diaper Cakes?! This Garden Themed baby shower diaper cake also doubled as a centerpiece at the baby shower. It was inspired by the colors and theme of the baby shower. The crown of flowers was worn by the mother-to-be for her photo shoot.
Diaper cakes are a smart way to decorate a baby shower and give a gift as well. If you are gifting ask the hostess for the theme and colors. This way you can match your diaper cake to fit the theme, and the hostess may just want to use it in her design scheme for all to see.
Boy or Girl?
Got Props?! Limited space shouldn't limit creativity. This couple decided to go out to eat with friends and family and needed something compact but effective.
Gender Reveal Props!
What better than a "Jack in the Box" gender reveal. A few pin on guest favors and a photo prop added that extra special touch.
Got Centerpieces?! This theme is based on elephants. I made a small one tier diaper cake in the color scheme of this baby shower and added a plush elephant on top. Three small diaper elephants were ordered and used as party props, along with a peanut diaper bouquet. How Cute!
Who doesn't love elephants! Diaper Cakes, Diaper Bouquets, and Diaper Elephants I made for an elephant themed baby shower.
Got Props?! This was made for a Princess themed baby shower. I enjoyed making this castle for a photo prop.
Castle Party Props
Instead of baby blocks I decided to turn my boxes into a castle with a draw bridge of course.

The mom-to-be can wear these at her shower. They can be given to her special guest ie granparents, hostess, or by her guest. Why not add a pair in your invitations. It's also a suttle way to let dad or others know you are expecting. just put a pair on and wait for their reactions when they notice.

I have recently come across the idea of diaper showers. Instead of a baby shower the new mother is thrown a diaper party. Hence, everyone who comes brings diapers as a gift. I heard this is done because some new mothers have left over things from a previous child and really don't need much more than diapers. I also heard it is called a diaper shower to let every guest know that they have to bring an additional gift of diapers. Now what better way to present a gift than bringing a poopee diaper cake.
